Sonship

This song addresses the orphan spirit that I believe many (even Christians) are being affected by today.

We act as orphans when we walk our lives as if we are on our own. When we feel alone, hopeless, anxious, or afraid. We were created by our Heavenly Father to live feeling safe, secure, and confident. But sin gave way to brokenness. If as a child, you spent too much time alone, lacked nurturing, provision, or direction, you probably believed that you were on your own and carried that belief into adulthood. You may have developed an orphan spirit.

You learned to be independent and to only bet on yourself. But Father God longs to exchange those negative beliefs for His truth. As you seek Him and spend time with Him in His word and in conversation with Him, He will begin replacing feelings of neglect and abandonment with completeness, protection and companionship.

Prayer: Father, may your voice be louder than any other voice-past, present and future. Speak your truth into our hearts and let it grow deep roots so that we can taste the rich life You intended for us to have-walking hand in hand with Jesus. We are never alon
